The woman filed a police report in 2018 accusing R. Kelly of restraining her, feeding her drugs and alcohol and ultimately, giving her an STD. She said that she met Kellz in Dallas in 2017. Despite the police closing their investigation on the case, the woman's lawyer, Lee Merritt, said that her client plans on filing a civil suit against R. Kelly.

R. Kelly has been in headlines for the past week after Lifetime aired Surviving R. Kelly -- a docu-series exploring the numerous allegations of R. Kelly's sexual abuse towards women over the past two decades including the recent accusations that he's held women captive for his alleged sex cult.
