Last weekend, the highly-anticipated Lifetime docu-series about R. Kelly's alleged sexual abuse history aired and many have shared their opinion about the man since they watched the interviews unfold. In Surviving R. Kelly, the survivors of his alleged attacks spoke out against the singer, branding him as a predator and a dangerous person. Considering the allegations go back decades, it's insane to wonder why it took so long for this most recent development to happen but alas, R. Kelly is reportedly under criminal investigation in the state of Georgia.
The dozens of women and men accusing R. Kelly of sexual misconduct may finally see their attacker get locked up because TMZ is reporting that the Fulton County Attorney's Office has opened a formal investigation against R. Kelly and it all stems from accusations made in Surviving R. Kelly. The probe was seemingly launched over the course of the last few days after information started spilling out in the Lifetime series. Investigators have reportedly been reaching out to several survivors, including Asante McGee and Joycelyn Savage, after being flooded with calls regarding the singer.
It's safe to say that the docu-series did exactly what it set out to do. People are now aware of all of the terrible things the artist is being accused of and an investigation has officially been opened. How do you see this ending?
