It appears as though things have gone from bad to worse for R. Kelly. Yesterday, the artist broke his silence, giving his first interview since being released from jail. Almost immediately after it aired though, he went to court for his child support case and was sent back behind bars. His "girlfriends" Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage gave an interview of their own this morning, defending the veteran singer. That is likely all the positive support that R. Kelly will receive today, though, because the "I Believe I Can Fly" crooner is now being accused of raping another woman and giving her a sexually transmitted infection when she was just 13-years old.
Investigators in Detroit are currently looking into a new case regarding R. Kelly, according to CBS. The man is being accused of sleeping with an underage girl nearly two decades ago and giving her herpes. The woman who is now 30-years old, says that she first had sexual intercourse with Kelly at a hotel in December 2001. At the time, she was 13-years old. The woman says that she visited Kelly at his home for approximately four years before he gave her herpes when she was 17-years old.
"We are eagerly waiting to speak to the alleged victim," said the Detroit Police Chief. The alleged victim no longer lives in Michigan but she will be flown in for an interview. What are your thoughts on this mess?
