Pusha T has written some classic material with the Neptunes in the past, but while Pharrell has been putting in work this year (including some stuff on Pusha's MNIMN), Chad Hugo was nowhere to be found. It looks like Push may be the person to get the two beatmakers in the studio once again, with the announcement that he will be working with the duo on his upcoming album King Push.
"I don't know when I'm dropping the next one, but I can tell you January 2nd, me, Chad and Pharrell are going into the studio for 20 days" said the Clipse rapper in an interview with Miss Info. "That's what is going to start off the King Push album."
Push also mentioned that he's not looking to please anyone outside of his current appreciators with the new project. "I'm not relying on anything else but my fans... my family, that's it."
