The Pitchfork Festival announced a presale bonanza before a single performing act was even encircled. Well, jokes on us, because Pitchfork's festival committee was ready all along, but chose to a moment of suspension as their marked strategy going into 2019.
Without further ado, here's the full lineup for 2019 Pitchfork Music Festival, once again taking place on the festive grounds of Union Park in Chicago, Illinois. One thing, in particular, that sounds out this year: a 60th-anniversary trident performed by the ageless Isley Brothers, a group so old, their patented pimp limp gradually developed a life of its own.
Elsewhere on the card, rappers like Pusha-T, Freddie Gibbs and Earl Sweatshirt figure in the plans, as do a ton of unspecified "Indie" projects, including a performing act that goes by "Soccer Mommy," I kid you not.
