Fans of street art and hip-hop heads alike will be able to enjoy themselves in Montreal next week as Pusha T and Playboi Carti have just been announced for the city's annual Mural Festival. Every year, some of the best international street artists visit Canada to create beautiful artwork on the busiest streets of downtown Montreal and, as of late, the organizers of the fest have been inviting the hottest rappers to join in on the fun. Graffiti and hip-hop have gone hand-in-hand for as long as we can remember so the inclusion of Post Malone and ScHoolboy Q in years prior will be no shock to anybody. This year, the festival has doubled down to ensure performances by the equally hyped up Pusha T and Playboi Carti on June 7.
Opening up the ten-day long affair, Carti and Push will undoubtedly be playing songs from their respective Die Lit and Daytona projects, crafting the perfect soundtrack for anybody watching the visual artists in action. As reported by Montreal-based Bad Feeling Magazine, the free outdoor show will kick off the festivities for Mural on June 7. The stage will be situated on the famous Saint-Laurent street, where the festival usually takes place in the middle of all of the action.
