Post Malone will likely hold onto the top spot on the Billboard 200 for a third week in a row.

Post Malone's Beerbongs & Bentleys was one of the most anticipated projects to drop in 2018. For about a year, the singer teased the project which he stated would drop at the top of December. While that didn't happen, the wait seems well worth it. Posty managed to break several records with the project and in a matter of hours, the album already went platinum. It came as no surprise that it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and has held that position for the past few weeks. Now, it looks like he's heading for a third.

Post Malone's Beerbongs & Bentleys is expected to hold down the top spot on the Billboard 200 this upcoming week which will be his third consecutive week holding that postion. According to Billboard's industry forecasters, the singer is expected to earn 140K equivalent album units by the end of day May 17th. Of course, the majority of those numbers will be through streaming.

While Posty can be expected to hold down the number one spot, Playboi Carti's new album, Die Lit, is expected to debut in the top five on the charts. It's already been predicted that he'll move roughly 65K within the first week. It's an impressive number for someone who only announced the project was going to drop a few hours before it's release.
