After what seemed like a lifetime, Post Malone's Stoney follow-up is finally on the way. One of the most anticipated albums of this year, Post Malone has leveled up a great deal since "White Iverson," joining only Eminem as the second rapper to chart at the top two spots in song debuts on the Billboard Hot 100. With the release of B&B nearing on April 27, Posty's manager Dre London has made some bold claims about the album in advance of its drop. Obviously, it is important to be confident before dropping such an important project but Post and his team are speaking as though they have hit gold.
Posting a video of his client's recent performance at the Bud Light Dive Bar Tour, Dre London said Post's next album "will be 1 of the greatest albums of this generation." While we are not discounting Post's ability to create a timeless piece of art, there have been plenty of incredible artworks released this decade with Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon, Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and others which will require a ton of work to surpass. Post has the capability to create infectiously catchy music, with number one hits seemingly coming out of his pores. Whether or not he can deliver a masterpiece as Dre London is saying will be determined after the release of the album.
From the sounds of "Rockstar" and "Psycho," his recent work has been at a high level. Do you think Post has hit a goldmine?
