There’s been rumblings of a possible joint project between Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti since last September when Carti first teased the idea on his Snapchat account, but unfortunately that hasn't come to fruition quite yet and who knows if it ever will? However, the two appear to have a shit ton of new music just sitting in the vault so there's still hope.
In a new interview with Bootleg Kev, Carti was asked about his rumored project with Uzi, which he unfortunately didn’t seem too optimistic about. But he did say the two have about 100 unreleased tracks on a hard drive somewhere. “We been recoding since like 2015 so we now what we gotta do,” he added.
In addition to that, the ATL rapper also talked about wanting to start his own clothing line, working on “everything” at the moment, and Lil Wayne being his biggest artistic influence, among other things.
Check out the full, 10-minute chat (below) and/or fast forward to the 5:30 mark to hear the Uzi talk. Look for Carti to be in a city near you as he’s currently embarking on his on-going “Die Lit” Tour. Peep tour dates right here if interested in seeing him live.
