The music video opens a bird's eye view of Oakland California. A fake hustler makes his appearance shortly after, picking out fake chains and other swag to wear. The occasion for the knockoff gear is the filming of a low budget video clip. It becomes slightly meta at this point. Before all this, Philthy Rich and OMB Peezy deliver their bars in the hood equivalents of front yards and garages, talking about how far they've come. The camera work flexes for them, zooming in on their gear and juxtaposing their looks to the poser's situation.
The video is humorous, the beat bangs and the lyrics are real. If you dig it, check out Philthy Rich's previous collaborations. He linked with Rexx Life Raj and ALL BLACK for "Dope Boy" and Tee Grizzley for "My Shit" last month. You can also catch OMB Peezy on "Thugged Out" and "Soulja Life Mentality."
