The NASA PG3, inspired by the NASA research center in George's hometown of Palmdale, California, consist of a "total orange" mesh upper, accompanied by red and blue accents as well as metallic silver detailing about the heel and midsole. The kicks also comes equipped with NASA-branded insoles and an American flag patch on the tongue of the right sneaker.
Additionally, the Apollo 16 crest can be found on the right heel as well as a removable, red flight tag that reads "Remove Before Flight." Another subtle detail is the text that can be found around the heel of each midsole: "Don't tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon."
