Although we are decades past the overtly sexist idea that women belong in the kitchen, you would be hard-pressed to find a man that doesn't thoroughly enjoy having a meal prepared for him by the hands of the divine feminine. I swear I can taste the minimum wage fueled malcontent and hate in my fast food french fries. There is just nothing like a homecooked meal made by someone who finds joy in feeding you. Apparently, that is a fact that Oprah also lives by, as she made clear when answering fans' questions on Instagram.
Oprah initiated an event called "Ask a Staffer Q&A " on O The Oprah Magazine's Instagram where answered several questions including whether she'll be attending the latest Jay-Z and Beyonce tour, and also what constitutes for a date night for her and longtime partner Stedman Graham. "Well, I am a really good cook. And the wonderful thing about Stedman is in all the years that I've been cooking for him, no matter what it is, even if it's a piece of toast like the other day I made an English muffin and he's like, 'Where did you get this English muffin?' and I'm like, 'It's an English muffin,'" Oprah revealed. "He is delighted with anything that I make, so my favorite date night is to make him black-eyed peas and cornbread as a surprise for dinner and then honey, hush. That's all you need!"
