Today, Quentin Tarantino has unveiled the official trailer for his ninth film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, a period piece taking place during Hollywood's Golden Era. In true Tarantino fashion, the cast is star-studded to say the least, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Kurt Russell, and more signed on for the ambitious flick. While we've already been granted glimpses of what to expect, the official trailer does a solid job in setting the tone, while keeping greater plot details under wraps.
Observant viewers will catch a new look at Charles Manson, as well as Al Pacino's character, some of "Rick Dalton's" cinematic hits, Sharon Tate, more Bruce Lee, some ominous cultists, and much more. Check out the Red Band trailer below, and sound off with your takes.
And that's exactly what Tarantino would want. The acclaimed director recently penned an open letter to Cannes-goers, pleading those lucky enough to catch advance screenings to keep spoilers under wraps. "I love Cinema. You love Cinema. It's the journey of discovering a story for the first time," he writes. "I only ask that everyone avoids revealing anything that would prevent later audiences from experiencing the film in the same way."
