OMB Peezy Shot After Performance In His Hometown

OMB Peezy is "doing okay," according to his rep.

OMB Peezy is currently one of the hottest emerging acts coming out of Mobile, Alabama. The rapper's been dishing out a ton of music over the past few years and proving that he's an artist to keep an eye out for. Last night, the rapper performed in his hometown but unfortunately, it appears things took a turn for the worst.

OMB Peezy was reportedly shot last night after his performance in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama. The rapper performed at Soul Kitchen with Boosie Badazz and JD Daigotti. Say Cheese TV shared footage of the crime scene after the shooting on Instagram. Emergency personnel are seen on the street helping the victims in the footage that surfaced online. 

Complex reached out to OMB Peezy's rep who confirmed that the rapper was shot. However, they did confirm that s "doing okay now." Details pertaining to the shooting or OMB Peezy's injuries haven't surfaced but the rapper took to Instagram to confirm that he's doing ok. "Bitch ass n***as shot me," he said in the short clip on his Instagram Story.

Thankfully, he wasn't critically harmed, although we are keeping him in our thoughts. The shooting occurred a few days after he released his latest single, "No Keys" with G-Eazy as well as its official video.
