OJ Simpson has been a free man for a little more than a day now, and already he's indulging in one of most loved pass times that the United States has to offer: eating fast food. That's right - no expensive steak dinner or seafood delicacies for The Juice; for his first post-prison meal, the former football star had his sights set on a juicy burger.
According to the New York Daily News, Simpson ordered two No. 4 combos at McDonald's as his first meal as a free man. When asked about more details concerning OJ's initial dining experience now that he's out of prison, his attorney Malcolm LaVergne has this to say: "He said, ‘It’s better than prison food, but it’s not what it’s all cracked out to be.' H was happy to be outside something on the outside." As for the rest of his plans since leaving the joint, OJ wasn't about to give anything away.
"I'm in a car for the last five hours, so how do I know how it feels to be out?" Simpson said while seated in the back of a white SUV in video shared by ESPN. "I've been in nowhere U.S.A. for the last nine years doing nothing. Nothing has changed in my life. What do you expect?" Simpson also seemed annoyed at the attention he was already getting from the paparazzi, efforts that he was quick to shut down, hopefully for good (in his mind).
"Man, how in the ... Have y'all been ... y'all stalking me?" He asked, before telling the man asking him questions in the video that his final destination was "none of your business." He asked the reporter to grant him some space and some privacy, but not before telling those watching, "God bless, take care guys." he said, giving a thumbs-up sign to the camera. Simpson will be on strict parole regulations, which includes a ban on excessive consumption of alcohol, that he will have to adhere to while he's out among the other free citizens of Nevada. There's no word on whether he plans to stay in the state long-term.
