One of Offset's baby mothers was approached by TMZ to partake in an interview where the subject of his growth would be up for discussion. Shya L'amour, whom many of you might recognize as a fledging rapper, is understandably mostly known as the legal guardian and mother of Offset's eldest daughter Kalea.
Although Shya's first reaction to Offset's family-inspired Father of 4 was to discredit the man helped conceive their precious Kalea. As tensions were boiling over in the media, Offset saw fit to address the issue of his "absenteeism" by admitting that he and Shya L'amour didn't know each other all too well when she became pregnant with their child.
In the recently published TMZ interview, Shya changes her tune just a smidge after further inspection of the album. Although he still remains bitter over some of the lyrics Offset chose to include on his debut LP, she did, however, take a minute to recognize her baby father's "tremendous growth," which she credits Cardi B with instilling. I think she's helped him grow tremendously." she opined when asked to comment on the ostensible impact Cardi B has had in Offset's life since they linked up. "Since he's been with her, I've seen a lot of growth."
In case you were wondering, much of Shya's displeasure was centered around lyrics that appeared on Father of 4's opening track, where he raps, "Kalea, you my first, first daughter. I missed the first years of your life, I'm sorry. Tell the truth, I ain't really know if I was your father. Tell the truth, I really don't even know your mama."
