Primary election day happened across Georgia today, with many artists and celebrities speaking out to encourage their young followers to head to the polls and make a difference. In particular, there are quite a few Quality Control artists who are advocating for everyone to vote, including Lil Yachty, Quavo and Offset. Others, like T.I., are sharing their 'Vote' badge to confirm they played their part.
For Offset, though this particular election proved to be a first-time experience. The rapper revealed in a short Instagram video that it was actually his first time voting today, because he wasn't allowed to previously.
"My First time ever voting because I wasn’t allowed! I over came this obstacle and decided to make a real difference," he ended: "Everybody please go vote today (LAST DAY)!!!"
In the video, he's right outside the voting booth, encouraging everyone to hit the polls.
"I feel good, I feel proud," he starts, before confirming, "I just voted my first time, 28 years old."
It makes sense that Offset would take this initiative too, given the fact that his wifey is Cardi B, and she's been very vocal about using the power of voting to make some change.
