A report claims that Offset made security send for Cardi B's autograph seeker.

The 2018 Met Gala is always one of the biggest events for celebrities and there's always something that pops off. There were many highlights of the evening including Cardi B and Nicki Minaj's documented link up and 2 Chainz proposing to his long-time girlfriend on the red carpet. However, not everything went well. Earlier today, footage circulated of a Cardi B fan getting pummeled by her security as he went to approach her for an autograph. However, a new report has claimed that the hit was sent out by her fiancé, Offset.

Offset is being accused of sending his people to go after the man who approached Cardi for an autograph, TheBlast reports. The alleged victim, Giovanni Arnold, explained that went up to Offset and Cardi b after the Met Gala in order to get an autograph while they waited for their car outside of the Mark Hotel. Offset allegedly called for three members of his entourage to "go after" the man because he didn't appreciate the way he approached Cardi. He says they put him on the ground before giving him a beat down.

NYPD confirmed they responded to the alleged assault at the hotel at 2:12 a.m. However, after arriving, they said the victim didn't show any signs of visible trauma but he was sent to the NY Presbytarian Hospital.

Police are investigating the incident as a misdemeanor assault. While police aren't interested in speaking with Cardi B or Offset, the three men allegedly involved in the incident.
