Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Lakers

This collab keeps looking better and better.

A Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 collab will always have high demand thanks to just how iconic they are. The Nike SB imprint has been a huge influence on skating culture, while Jordan Brand has been providing some of the best basketball shoes on the market for decades. Bringing the two together is a partnership that not only makes sense but in many ways is necessary to give consumers what they want. For weeks now, images and teasers of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 collab have been surfacing, with two colorways, in particular, making the rounds. The more popular of the two being the "Lakers" version.

The "Lakers" model features purple overlays and a gold Nike Swoosh while white leather dresses the toe box and side panels. What's interesting about this pair though, is that the purple overlays rub off to reveal a red layer, while the yellow reveals black. When the details are completely rubbed off, the shoe becomes a "Chicago" colorway. Courtesy of @hanzuying, we now know exactly what that will look like.

The Instagram user almost made a post explaining that 92,000 pairs will be released on May 25th for $175 USD.
