January 22nd will mark the 13th anniversary of Kobe Bryant's epic 81-point game against the Toronto Raptors, in which he donned a white, purple and black colorway of the Nike Kobe 1.
In celebration of that iconic scoring performance, Nike will be releasing a Kobe 1 Protro "81 Point Game" on January 22.
Styled just like the pair that the Black Mamba wore when he torched Jalen Rose and the Raptors, the kicks consist of a white leather upper accompanied by a black Nike swoosh with purple detailing throughout the midsole and ankle collar. San Antonio Spurs All-Star DeMar DeRozan re-introduced the kicks during Wednesday night's game against the Memphis Grizzlies, though he fell 72 points shy of Kobe's mark.
According to Nike, the Kobe 1 Protro "81-Point Game" releases January 22 on SNKRS North America, Nike.com and at select retailers globally. The kicks will retail for $175.
