LeBron James has a storied history when it comes to his career, as well as his sneaker legacy with the likes of Nike. Ever since he entered the league back in 2003, he has been dropping his very own signature shoes, many of which have made a lasting impact. Perhaps his most famous sneaker is the Nike LeBron 7, which boasts one of his most unique silhouettes to date. There were some incredible colorways, including the "MVP" offering which originally dropped in 2010. Now, it's making a comeback and is set to drop on Friday, June 26th for $200 USD.
The Nike LeBron 7 "MVP" has already hit resale websites like StockX and is selling for an average price of $284 USD which is about 40 percent over retail. Smaller sizes such as 8 through to 11 are selling for a modest amount of between $220 and $250. However, larger sizes like 13 and 14 are selling for $335 and $392, respectively. Perhaps the explanation for these prices is the fact that sneakerheads love to cop retros as it plays to their feelings of nostalgia. Not to mention, these are only dropping on the Nike SNKRS App which means they will be limited.
As for the look of these shoes, they feature a white leather base, all while grey textures are placed on the side panels. From there, we are met with some regal shades of gold and burgundy which are placed on the Nike swoosh, cuff, midsole, and even the tongue. It's a gorgeous retro of a model that many missed out on the first time it dropped in 2010. If you're in need of a nostalgic addition to your sneaker closet, these are a must-cop.
