Nike co-founder Phil Knight recently sat down for an interview with David Rubenstein of "The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations" to talk about all things Nike, including working with Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, and John McEnroe.
During their discussion, Knight also briefly spoke about the continued success of the Air Jordan line and the banned Air Jordan 1s that the NBA forbid MJ from wearing early on in his career.
Today, Knight says Jordan Brand brings in roughly $3 billion annually now as opposed to the nearly $700 million that the brand pulled in when Jordan retired.
