We're almost nearing the month of March which means Nike's Air Max Day is almost upon us. Of course, that date is March 26th and sees the Beaverton brand deliver a plethora of brand new Air Max models and colorways. Over the last few weeks, Nike has been showing off a ton of new Air Max 720 colorways since that is this year's new Air Max. While the brand is promoting its brand new shoe, they still haven't forgotten about last year's model, which actually laid the groundwork for this year's version. That shoe, of course, is the Nike Air Max 270 which is known for its chunky air max unit found on the back heel.
The brand just revealed a sleek new "Pure Platinum" colorway which features different tooling than we're used to on the upper. This model has a mesh upper, instead of the normal material used, while the rest of the shoe is made up of everything you would expect from the Air Max 270. As for the color, well it comes in a clean white and silver with a translucent air bubble on the back.
