While the lead up to Nicki Minaj's upcoming album, Queen, seems like it'll take forever, Nicki is making sure to keep her fans happy. First she announced the massive "NICKIHNDRXX" tour with Future, and she even dropped a brand new single with Young Money head honcho, Lil Wayne, titled "Rich Sex."
The track, which dropped yesterday, seems to have already started to take off. Nicki has been following the song's ascent closely, and posting updates on her Instagram page. Today, she revealed that "Rich Sex" has reached the number 1 spot on the Hip-Hop/Rap charts on iTunes in 20 different countries.
While she's a far cry away from a global take over of all 195 countries in the world, it's still an impressive achievement for a song that's so new. Some of the countries she's conquered include: the United States, Finland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Brazil, Nigeria, and Palestine. Truly, Nicki is a worldwide force to be reckoned with.
"Rich Sex" is her third single she's dropped off of her Queen album, which is due to be released come August. The other two singles, "Chun-Li" and "Barbie Tingz" performed well on the Billboard Chart, with the former cracking the top ten. If "Rich Sex" continues to pick up traction, it's likely that we'll see a strong chart debut for the song, next week.
Once she drops the album, she'll hit the tour with Future, where fans can decide which of the two of them made the better track titled, "Rich Sex." Check out the list of countries listening to "Rich Sex" below.
