When Michael Bay decided to take his sights off Transformers and begin a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, fans were excited. There is hardly a child of the 90's that doesn't have a fond memory of the Ninja Turtles. Although the most recent Transformers films weren't exactly great films, the original trilogy brought one of the most beloved cartoon franchises to the big screen successfully. Bay's take on Michaelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello was received warmly. Although he didn't direct the film, Bay's fingerprint on the series was obvious. Now, Paramount is ready to bring a third Ninja Turtles film into the fold.
Honestly, a new film would be the seventh movie in the Ninja Turtles franchise if you include the films from the 90's. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount is developing a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, and they have hired Andrew Dodge (Bad Words) to write the script. Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller will return to produce the film after working on the first two together. There is no word on what the title or direction for a third film would be, but Krang and Shredder will most likely return in some form of vengeance to complete the storyline.
