A brand new colorway of the upcoming Air Jordan 32 has just surfaced, featuring the always popular all-red colorway accompanied by the familiar black accents, lending to a Chicago Bulls vibe. As it turns out, this newly unveiled red Air Jordan 32 actually serves as a nod to the shade of red used by Italian racing cars, "Rosso Corsa."
The Air Jordan 32 silhouette as a whole draws on inspiration from the original Air Jordan 2, a sneaker which was produced in Italy, so the Italian racing car theme falls in line with other attributes that were borrowed from the Air Jordan 2. For instance, the Air Jordan 32 features the familiar Wings logo on the tongue, python-textured paneling and the ribbed heel, all of which are key design elements of Michael Jordan's second signature sneaker.
This "Rosso Corsa" colorway is reportedly set to hit retailers on September 29th for the retail price of $185. As of now, it will be the first Air Jordan 32 to release. While official images of the 32 have been circulating for about a week now, Jordan Brand still has not officially revealed details about the shoe.
Last year, Jordan Brand and Russell Westbrook teamed up to formally introduce the Air Jordan 31 at a special event. It's unclear if he'll be the face of the Air Jordan 32 as well or if they'll tap into another member of their star-studded roster such as Kawhi Leonard, Blake Griffin or Jimmy Butler. Carmelo Anthony was recently spotted in what appeared to be an all-black colorway of the AJ32, though he's already got his own signature line to worry about.
In addition to the all-red "Rosso Corsa" Air Jordan 32, images of a black and red "MJ Day" Air Jordan 32 have also surfaced, with rumors suggesting the "MJ Day" 32s will be arriving on October 18th - also priced at $185.
