For months, the legal drama has been ramping up for Nelly as rape accusations from Monique Greene continued to weigh him down. The woman claims that she was on Nelly's tour bus in October of last year, hanging out with the artist in Seattle, when he forced himself onto her, having oral and vaginal sex against her will. A few months after the alleged incident, Nelly was sued for defamation and sexual assault. He's gone through much of this year dealing with the case in court but it appears that it will all come to an end now as TMZ is reporting that the artist has reached a mutual settlement with Monique Greene.
Nelly has reportedly settled the case with Greene after it was officially dropped by the prosecutors, claiming that Greene was uncooperative. Apparently, no money has changed hands on either side after both parties agreed to dismiss the case entirely.
The "Hot in Herre" rapper was initially arrested while on tour with country band Florida Georgia Line. Greene was said to have screamed that she wanted to get off the tour bus, to which Nelly allegedly threw a $100 bill at her and said "Bye bye." Check out footage from that night below.
