Some rappers talk, while others take action. Mysonne is the latter. The outspoken activist and rapper took to Capitol Hill to join the enormous crowd protesting the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Donald Trump selected Kavanaugh, but the entire voting process was marred in controversy.  Christine Blasey Ford came forward to accuse Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her decades ago at a party, but her testimony on Capitol Hill wasn't enough to sway the Senate.

Mysonne delivered an impassioned speech at the protest, and explained his reasons for joining the demonstration. "By standing for women we have to acknowledge that there's a culture of sexual violence, rape culture, that men have benefited from," stated Mysonne."In order for it to change, men have to change it," he continued. "If you can't come to terms with the fact that you may have harmed a woman indirectly, not on purpose, and be honest as a man. Then you're not fit to sit on the Supreme Court."

During the protest, Mysonne was arrested. He took to Instagram after his release to double down on his stance. "Today I stood wit Brave MEN!! MEN who decided they werent going to do Nothing!," wrote Mysonne as the beginning of a lengthy caption. "I hear so many people ask me why do I keep getting arrested, Why do I keep Marching it doesnt do Anything.. To those people I ask what does doing Nothing do??"
