Mila J has shared 5 new songs in celebration of her 35th birthday. 11.18, named after the singer's date of birth, follows the full-length Dopamine, released in April. In February, she released the seven track mixtape MILAULONGTIME. The new collection features clubby R&Bass jams like "Drifting" as well as steamy throwbacks like "Obsessive."
Mila, who has been known to incorporate choreographed dance into her videos, spoke to HNHH about the way the artform influences her music in an interview last year. "Movement is like expressing an emotion," she said. "So [songwriting and dance] definitely correlate. When you’re in a certain mood – in dance, you’re gonna move different depending on how you feel. I definitely think that they kind of go together."
In August, Mila released "Touch Me," which appeared on the original soundtrack for the 2017 film Til Death Do Us Part.
