There's no doubt that the Migos are one of the most influential rap groups of the last decade. The trio has pretty much spearheaded an entire sound, popularizing Atlanta trap to become one of the most popular subgenres of hip-hop. Their triplet flows and 808-heavy beats are characteristic of a larger phenomenon in music that they can partly claim responsibility for. For that, they've established themselves as a force in the industry. With each member seemingly interested in trying out how they can succeed as solo artists, the Migos are looking back on their history and are confidently referring to themselves as the "GREATEST OF ALL TIME."
Some will agree with them but others believe they still have a long way to go before being granted the liberty of such a title. Offset, Takeoff, and Quavo made the claim on Instagram, posting a photo of the trio as a whole and implying that there's nobody in the world that's better than them.
It's hard to argue their influence but the "greatest of all time" claim might be a stretch. Quavo is currently gearing up for his first solo album, Quavo Huncho, which is releasing on October 12. Do you believe they're the greatest ever?
