This weekend Drake dropped off his verse to Rihanna and N*E*R*D’s “Lemon" by way of his OVO Sound Radio broadcast on Beats 1, and today he returns alongside Migos as they deliver on the new visuals for their collaborative “Walk It Talk It” cut.
In the new clip, we’re treated to a hilarious ode to Soul Train as the trio flexes in apparel from the seventies while rocking afros as they perform as musical guests on the aptly-titled Culture Ride. Here, we get Jamie Foxx as he flexes his acting chops, assuming the role of Soul Train’s iconic host Don Cornelius while Drizzy pops out in some entertaining vines, making his way down the Culture Ride line.
The “Walk It Talk It” track is one of the standouts found on Migos’ Culture II outing, released at the top of the year on January 26th. The offering was an effort crafted to match up against the vast success of the group’s Culture sophomore album of last year, and while it debuted at the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 200 and earned the group another Platinum plaque in less than six weeks, Culture II hasn’t quite experienced the critical success its predecessor carried out.
Nonetheless, the bangers and the playlist anchors persist. This now marks the third visual to come of the album, following the music video for lead singles “Stir Fry” and the Cardi B and Nicki Minaj-assisted “MotorSport.”
