Black Panther has given the world a chance for Creed actor Michael B. Jordan and Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o to form a special kind of bond while filming the latest addition into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Jordan seems to have lost some undisclosed bet with the 12 Years A Slave actress, which apparently requires him to drop down and do as many pushups as Nyong'o commands him to do. Just yesterday, Jordan was paid a visit by his co-star in the dressing room during his appearance on The View, who then prompted him to drop down and give her a pushup in front of a room full of people. Jordan admits that there is only three pushups left in their bet, so Nyong'o decides to save the other two for a more fitting time.
However, this isn't the first time the actress has prompted Jordan to do some pushups while out in public, as she recently asked him to do another one at the Calvin Klein Fall/Winter 2018 runway presentation. Jordan got down on the floor, which was covered in popcorn, to fulfill Nyong'o's demands.
This behaviour appears to be quite flirty, as if the two have established some sort of personal bond beyond the Black Panther set that has influenced their demeanour during public outings. Could there be a budding romance between the two? Or is Nyong'o just giving Jordan a chance to flex his fit physique for the public? Either way, the two would make a fine Hollywood power couple who can now claim to have met on the set of one of the biggest blockbuster films of all time.
