Upon the release of the brand new Metro Thuggin collab, "Hercules," all is well between Young Thug and Metro Boomin. Of course, this wasn't the case a few hours before the release, but when Thug announced a Metro Thuggin collab on Instagram, it was assumed the whole thing had been a publicity stunt. The song may be getting more attention as a result of the controversy, but Metro Boomin has now confirmed that the "beef" wasn't fabricated.
"There was a misunderstanding with real emotions but it's resolved. Thugger my brother 4 life," the 22-year-old producer wrote on Twitter.
Perhaps Thugger was initially offended when, on Nov. 9, Metro wrote a series of tweets praising Future's unique, perhaps unmatched, work ethic. Future even appeared to add his two cents with a subliminal. The exchange between Thug and Metro proceeded to amplify, and as early as this morning (Nov. 12), Thug threatened to "beat the shit" out of the DS2 producer.
Luckily, it seems the dispute didn't escalate any further. Metro has confirmed the that the beef is, indeed, "squashed." And at the end of the night, we got a new track. Listen to "Hercules" here.
