Metro Boomin' & Big Sean are dropping some fire at midnight.

Metro Boomin simply cannot stop. Not only has he been making a compelling case for the 2017 MVP, but he recently came through with one of the year's dopest surprises. A few days back, the Atlanta hitmaker teamed up with Offset and 21 Savage to deliver a dark, eerie trap odyssey called Without Warning, and the tape is only getting better with every listen. Before that, there was the stellar collaboration with Gucci Mane by the name of Droptopwop. Before that, the infectiously hard flutes of Future's "Mask Off." And that's not even counting his seemingly endless contributions to the game this year alone.

As for Big Sean, the rapper has been quietly enjoying a successful year on his own merit. His recent studio album I Decided may have been an early year release, but it proved to have some longevity when it reached platinum status last week. Plus, Big Sean scored a bit of a personal W when he had girlfriend Jhené Aiko immortalize his face on her skin, so that's gotta count for something. Suffice it to say, both Sean and Metro have been winning all year, so it was only a matter of time before they combined forces to deliver some music.

In a recent Instagram post, Metro announced that "some new heat" by himself and Big Sean would be dropping tonight, at midnight. It's unclear whether or not Metro is referring to a song or a full length project, but the former seems highly likely, considering Metro just dropped his third joint project of the year. The man can't be that productive...or can he? Either way, we'll find out tonight, when this "new heat" drops. Stay tuned with us, as we're eager to hear your thoughts on the collaboration. Check out Metro's announcement below, as well as some potential artwork.
