Meek Mill has been doing nothing but interviews since he got of jail two weeks ago, but his biggest and arguably most important one yet might be coming later today. TMZ reports that the MMG rapper is scheduled to visit the White House, but they’re not quite sure with who’ll be talking with.
Sources told the news publication that a meeting is set for Friday, and the subject is reportedly prison reform, something Meek knows all too well about. However, it’s unclear if he’s meeting with Donald Trump or someone else from the White House, but we’ll know more come Friday afternoon. I couldn't see Trump sitting down with Meek though so don't get your hopes up there.
Despite what he might be trying to accomplish, it appears Meek’s been hearing it from others not to go. Multiple sources say that celebrities and fellow peers have been contacting him and urging him to not go, but as of now he’s still attending.
This meeting comes just days after finding out Meek has more than enough evidence to get his conviction overturned at next month’s hearing.
We’ll keep you posted about Meek’s reported White House meeting on Friday once more information on it is available.
