Last night, Meek Mill came through with two new singles from his upcoming album. Both "Oodles O' Noodles Babies" and "Uptown Vibes" arrived when the clock hit midnight, giving fans the first ear into what we can expect from Meek's new effort. Aside from a short EP, the rapper has been quiet since his prison release and that's all set to change next week. People are excited about the Philadelphia rapper's next album and the new songs only solidify that. He was a guest on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show where he performed the first of his singles, "Oodles O' Noodles Babies," for the late-night crowd.
CHAMPIONSHIPS is set to be released on November 30 but we got a sneak peek last night when Meek Mill performed one of his two new songs. He described the original title as one that's quite literal, saying that he grew up eating oodles of noodles because that's all they could afford. Praising the crowd for their engagement, the artist went through the entire song, singing impassioned bars about criminal justice, his experiences in prison, and poverty in the United States.
Meek also teamed up with Foot Locker, TIDAL, and PUMA to offer an exclusive collectible item ahead of his album drop. You can learn more about that here.
