Meek Mill has commented on Tekashi 6ix9ine's federal case multiple times. Initially, he expressed his belief that the rainbow-haired character was simply a "good kid" who got tangled in a bad situation. According to Meek, Tekashi's persona attracted difficulties for which he wasn't prepared. As the case progressed, his opinion shifted. His tolerance for "snitches" is taking precedence over his sympathy.
A few days ago, he urged DJ Akademiks to stop sharing content related to the DUMMY BOY artist, citing "disrespect." Now that the track he was promoting is out, Meek is doubling down on his stance directing his attention to Tekashi himself (or to whoever is managing his social media during his imprisonment). Meek hopped into the young rapper's comments section to cancel him with only a few words: "Nah we unfollowing you."
When it was revealed that 6ix9ine had most likely accepted a plea deal last month, Meek was not surprised but he was still disappointed by the turn of events. "That’s a shame," he wrote. "when I came home everybody was like he got some real dudes backing him “ I was like how” y’all better stop running behind rappers acting like y’all ready to throw y’all lives away over some stupid shit .. I seen this coming a while ago."
