Ahead of the release of Championships, Meek Mill kept things relatively quiet in terms of who would be featured on the project. The rapper was asked whether the possibility of him and Drake collaborating again would happen. He said that it was a possibility but a few days later, it was revealed that Drake and Meek reunited for Championships. "Going Bad" became Meek's highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 6. After teasing a music video for the song, the two rappers join forces for the official music video.
Meek Mill and Drake reunite to deliver the cinematic visuals for "Going Bad." The two rappers are dressed dapper as they take on the role of mob bosses -- placing bets on horses and all. The music video also features appearances from T.I., DJ Mustard, Nipsey Hussle, Swizz Beatz and more.
"Going Bad" serves as the first collaboration between Drake and Meek since "R.I.C.O" off of Wins & Losses. Meek Mill later performed the single during his Saturday Night Live debut during a medley which also included "Uptown Vibes" with Fabolous.
