Fans have been patiently waiting for the release of Majid Jordan's sophomore album, The Space Between, ever since the OVO duo first announced it back on August 1st, but after months of anticipation the album finally looks to be right around the corner. Last month, the OVO duo released the single “My Imagination” with DVSN, and later revealed that The Space Between would be dropping on October 27th, which is less than two weeks from today, but it turns out that’s not all they got up their sleeves.
To coincide with the album, Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman will be taking their talents on the road for “The Space Between” World Tour as well. Unfortunately, no tour dates have been unveiled yet, but according to Ticketmaster they’ll be visiting just about every major city across the country. The official announcement & tour dates will be revealed this Friday morning when tickets go on sale.
From what we can see via Ticketmaster’s page right now though, it looks like the tour will kick off either later 2017 or in January, and continue through the first couple months of 2018. My guess is that it's kicking off at Power 106’s Cali Concert in December, then run through cities like Boston, Atlanta, Miami Beach, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Detroit, or so that is via Ticketmaster.
While we wait for the official tour dates to be revealed, check out the announcement (below) and let us know if you’re copping tickets?
The Space Between, which is available now for pre-order on iTunes, features the previously heard singles “Phases,” “One I Want” with PartyNextDoor & "My Imagination” featuring DVSN.
In other related news, Majid Jordan isn’t the only act from the OVO Sound that’s about to drop a new project. Not only are PartyNextDoor & DVSN coming off the release of their respective albums, but Roy Woods is readying a new album called Say Less, while The Space Between is also on the way. So it’s safe to say OVO SZN is upon us.
