It really seems like Macklemore doesn't stop working. The success with Ryan Lewis has skyrocketed his career, allowing him to do a lot more outside of music as he does within it. He's been dapped up by the OG's in hip hop and has maintained steady relationships with some of the hottest emcee's in the game. While his last release wasn't as received as well as The Heist, Macklemore has officially announced his first solo album in ages Gemini. In addition to the announcement, he took to Instagram to drop the tracklist and the cover art for the project.

While there isn't any indications of producers thusfar, he does have a pretty hefty amount of features on the project. Over the course of the 16 tracks, there's only one track that he seems to be rockin' dolo. Included features on the project are Offset, Lil Yachty, Ke$ha among others. Macklemore already released "Marmalade" featuring Lil Yachty as well as the Skylar Grey assisted "Glorious" as the first single. This album is going to make it his first solo album since his 2005 effort The Language Of My World although hopefully we hear atleast a little bit of production from Ryan Lewis. The two of them have proven to have incredible chemistry on wax.

Before announcing the album along with it's album art and tracklist, he announced that he'd be embarking on the "Gemini Tour" this fall. Clearly he did a great job in timing the tour, as the album is set to drop a few weeks before on September 22nd.

With the release of his upcoming album, there's no telling what he'll be up to but if the project is as promising as it's two singles, it's definitely going to be another one for Macklemore.
