Macaulay Culkin has popped up again to remind us he's still around by starting a poll to change his middle name. In his appearance on Jimmy Fallon last night he explained the thought process that led to the idea: "I was staring at my passport recently and stuff, and I was looking over my middle name –my current middle name is Carson–and I thought I should probably spruce up my name a little bit." So, he's started a poll on his website Bunny Ears. Culkin also says that he has "narrowed it down to five options. I've been polling, friends, family, like everything." The five options are: "Shark Week," "TheMcRibisback," "Kieran" (his brother's name), "Macaulay Culkin" and "Publicity Stunt."
The purpose of the poll seems to be to gain publicity for Culkin's new website which he describes on Fallon as "Goop meets The Onion" (Goop is Gwyneth Paltrow's "lifestyle" website that shares tips on eating, dressing and living that are all prohibitively expensive). The two current headlines on Bunny Ears are: "I’m Sorry My Gender Reveal Party Caused ‘The Scourge’" and "Train Your Adorable New Puppy By Negging The Shit Out Of It."
You can vote here until Christmas eve, so that Culkin can wake up on Christmas day "to a wonderful present from everyone."
