Mac Miller is getting to be a famous enough rapper that he is now venturing into the world of reality T.V. The independent rapper on his grind is set to appear in an upcoming reality T.V. show on MTV2.
Production has already begun for the six-part reality series, which will follow Mac and his Most Dope crew as the settle into the Los Angeles life. As MTV News reports, the show is set to premiere in 2013.
Mac said of the endeavor in a press release, "Yes, I have a show on MTV2," he continued, "It's very cool. Being an independent artist, I think it's important to find different ways to bring attention to what you are doing. With Watching Movies coming out, I just want to do whatever I can to make sure everybody hears that."
Although it's hard to say exactly what fans will get from the show, Mac says, "The show is going to be cool, it's a little look into my life... well, all the stuff you can show on TV." He said, "I have been living in my studio for months working on my album, so the show kind of forced me to get out of that room and go do something entertaining."
Mac Miller will also be heading to Europe alongside 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne for Weezy's upcoming tour, as announced yesterday.
