While out in NYC recently to promote his brand new album GO:OD AM, Mac Miller decided to stop by The Genuis headquarters and give an in-depth breakdown of his third studio album.
Captured for our visual enjoyment, here goes a clip of Mac breaking down the lead single “100 Grandkids.” Having separated the record into two parts, Mac explains the first half is about “procreation and helping to leave a legacy,” meanwhile the second part of the track, which is produced by Big Jerm, is little more “selfish” & more about one’s self.
Watch as Mac dissects specific lyrics from the record & more in this 3-minute chat above. GOOD AM available on iTunes now!
