Lyrical Lemonade is still generally a new thing but Cole Bennett has worked hard to make it into his own hip-hop media empire. Consistently coming up with the most creative ideas for music videos, Bennett and the rest of his team work almost exclusively with artists on the come-up to elevate their music and, in turn, Lyrical Lemonade is striving as high as it ever has. Giving back to the community, LL decided to use their connections to gather up many of the hottest young artists in the game for a summer festival like no other. Rolling Loud may not have hit Chicago's market yet so Lyrical Lemonade beat them to the punch, setting up for their first ever Summer Smash Festival in August.
The inaugural event is not going to be dull at all either as they already have more than enough momentum to plan the second iteration. With a slew of star power showing out, Summer Smash is a can't-miss affair. Acts include Joey Bada$$, Trippie Redd, Vic Mensa, Lil Skies, Lil B, Gunna, Famous Dex, Ski Mask the Slump God and Yung Bans. Filling out the mid-card is 2018 XXL Freshman Wifisfuneral, Maxo Kream, Mick Jenkins, Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul, Lucki and Yung Pinch. The festival is full of musicians trying to catch their stride too as the buzzing YBN Cordae, Fat Nick, Queen Key, and Germ are all slated to perform.
Tickets are already on sale here for the August 19 concert. The price for general admission is currently $55 with VIP being quite affordable at $85. Are you planning on catching the first edition of Summer Smash?
