Logic is a big fan of Cardi B's debut album Invasion Of Privacy. The Maryland rapper made sure to let Cardi know he was listening to the album with impressed ears. "Aye @iamcardib girl you snapped! This album 🔥," he wrote. Cardi, who has always remained humble despite becoming one of the biggest names in rap over the last year, thanked Logic for the praise.
It seems like the overall excitement surrounding Cardi's new album will be reflected in the sales, as a recent report suggested that the Bronx rapper's album could move as many as 200,000 equivalent album units in its first week, which should land the Cardi her first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Logic recently notched his second No. 1 with his Bobby Tarantino II mixtape, which moved 119,000 equivalent album units first week.
Both Cardi B and Logic performed at the 2018 Grammys earlier this year. They have yet to officially collaborate, but following the interaction on Twitter some fans are calling for the two to get in the studio.
Cardi got a very special cosign Friday when, of all people, Oprah declared she was bumping the new project. Naturally, Cardi was in disbelief.
In September, Cardi received some words of encouragement from yet another established rapper, J. Cole, who advised her not to put so much pressure on her debut album. Whether or not she took that to heart, her hard work appears to have paid off.
