Lloyd Banks & Conway link up for a studio session.

Lloyd Banks and Conway have quite a few things in common. For one, both artists are purveyors of rugged, raw raps; Conway's Griselda imprint has gained notoriety for its unapologetically raw brand of gangster rap, while Lloyd Banks came up with G-Unit one of the genre's most infamous crews. Neither artist truly compromised their sonic integrity, even in the wake of linking up with commercial juggernaut Shady Records. In many ways, this collaboration was destined to happen, and from the sound of it, it's going to be a serious street banger.

The unnamed track, produced by Daringer, was originally teased on an IG video uploaded by somebody present in the studio. From the look of it, the intimate session featured an entire squadron in tow with the Henny bottle on deck. In the background, Daringer's beat is blasting, while Conway informs the camera that "they cooking," though he neglects to specify what exactly they might be working on.

The camera then pans to Lloyd Banks, who chooses to keep silent, bobbing his head to the instrumental. While there's no official confirmation that Banks is actually rapping on the track, it stands to reason that the punchline king will be making an appearance. The caption seems to imply that Conway, Lloyd Banks, and Benny will all be present on the upcoming track, and if the small sample is any indication, the finished product will be dark, hard hitting, and full of street lyricism.

Conway recently released his Reject On Steroids mixtape back in May, along with several loosies. Banks has been largely absent from the game for a minute, but the underrated rhymer has been more active of late, dropping a new single called "Overload" and murdering a freestyle on Funk Flex.

Unlike many artists, Conway actually drops music on a regular basis, so it's only a matter of time before this banger sees the light of day.
