Lizzo's Coachella debut last week was one for books even though the music festival screwed up her sound and audio. You would think the festival would assure that her second visit to the stage would be without technical issues, but unfortunately, things didn't pan out that way. The "Good As Hell" music maker had to push through more difficulties as her backing track cut off certain bridges and chorus' and threw off her back up dancers, Variety reports. Lizzo's frustrations were obvious when she told the crew to “cut it off.”
For the second weekend in a row, Lizzo had to perform her set acappella for her adoring crowd who still cheered her on and loved her set.
“If they ain’t gonna get the music right, I’m gonna get the music right,” Lizzo told the audience, with her flute in hand. “That’s why I got my music major.”
She added: “This is for anyone who ever doubted us and fucked up our sound."
Lizzo recently took to Twitter to vent some of her thoughts about the industry and those who review albums. "PEOPLE WHO ‘REVIEW’ ALBUMS AND DONT MAKE MUSIC THEMSELVES SHOULD BE UNEMPLOYED," she wrote, following up with an invitation for writers to spend time in the studio with her as a way for both parties to understand each other's worlds.
