Over the past several weeks, TIDAL has been promoting their third annual TIDAL X: Brooklyn concert. Since the slew of hurricanes and natural disasters that have hit America, Puerto Rico and Mexico among other places, artists all over have been gearing up for tonight's benefit concert at Brooklyn's Barclay's Centre. TIDAL themselves have been doing all they could to raise relief funds and help out those affected by the natural disasters and their third annual TIDAL X benefit show tonight is another effort.
Fans from all over the world can join in to stream the TIDAL X Brooklyn show without having a TIDAL membership. The benefit concert will be streaming tonight and fans can gain access to the event by donating as little as $1 through the streaming service. The event will be hosted by Angie Martinez. JAY-Z, Jennifer Lopez, DJ Khaled, Chris Brown and Cardi B are among some of the performers for tonight's event. There will also be performances by Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Yo Gotti, A$AP Ferg, Joey Bada$$, Willow Smith, Belly, Iggy Azalea, Mack Wilds, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Tee Grizzley, Rapsody, Kranium and more. Bacardi Rum are the sponsors of the event. They've donated $1.3 million to TIDAL's Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Efforts for tonight's show and have previously donated to organizations supporting disaster relief. They've paired up to assist Governor Andrew M. Cuomo's Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort for Puerto Rico.
TIDAL has already sent cargo planes full of relief supplies, from food to clothing to toiletries, to help those affected by Hurricane Maria. The proceeds from tonight's event will be going towards several organizations that are supporting relief and recovery efforts for people and areas affected by the natural disasters that have occurred in recent months. Those organizations include Global Giving, Direct Relief, One America Appeal, Greater Houston Community Foundation, Direct Relief and many more.
