"This is what happens when the world stops," wrote Little Simz, explaining her new project Drop 6 in a lengthy statement. An admitted workaholic, the London-based rapper would not be able to get through the quarantine if she didn't have a musical outlet. This time around, she set out to release an EP but she found herself getting in her own way. Believing that it was not good enough and that people wouldn't like it, Little Simz faced her fears and released Drop 6.
Featuring five brand new songs and one sole feature from Alewya, the 26-year-old returns with yet another solid contribution to her growing discography. Feeling a range of emotions in the last two months, Simz is happy to finally drop some new music.
