A new Travis Scott remix of Kodak Black's "Roll In Peace" appears on OG Chase B’s Streets Need That 5 mixtape, as XXL points out. The original song appeared on Kodak's Project Baby 2, his second LP this year which he released in August. The 1-minute mix of the song features a new verse from Travis, featuring plenty of ad-lib work and backing vocals, with some croons creeping beneath Kodak's verse as well.
Last we heard, Travis was hard at work on not one but two projects. The Houston rapper has announced his follow-up to 2016's Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, which will be titled Astroworld, as well as an as-of-yet-untitled collaboration with Quavo from Migos. After suggesting he was in "ALBUM MODE" on Twitter a few weeks back, Travis gave an update on the two albums during a performance. "Me and Quavo album about to drop real soon, Astroworld about to drop real soon." He's also been spotted in the studio with Metro Boomin, who he previously worked with on the gold-certified single "3500" from Rodeo. Last week, Travis Scott could be seen working with buzzing SoundCloud rapper Smokepurpp.
Scott was recently featured on Miguel's carefree new single "Sky Walker," one of a few new radio records he's been tied to including Major Lazer's "Know No Better" and DJ Khaled's "Don't Quit."
Still no word on a release date for either of his upcoming projects, but from the looks of things, there will be no shortage of new Travis music in the near future.
Quotable Lyrics:
That's how much I believe
Everyday Halloween
But we don't trick and treat
Count deads in my dreams
Can't even fall asleep
Pop on ya, send the opps on ya
Hollow clips in magazines
RoboCops on ya, raining shots on ya
